Apartment housing, in the US, experiences a lack of community, and a lack of ownership. They are majority owned by corporate property management companies, and as such, they suffer.
HOUSING BLOCKS aims to redefine that narrative, promoting tenant owned buildings and the reclamation of urban spaces. By providing a model that offers all of the essentials in a compact, flat-pack framework, they can be used to remodel the floorplans of existing structures, including now emtpy corporate offices, return agency to tenants, and address the issues of community and ownership in existing urban spaces.
